My Family's History with USANA.
Here our history with USANA. It all began in November 2005 when our 5 year old son had his sixth pneumonia. A friend, whom we will never thank enough, spoke to us about USANA. Given the precarious health of each member in our family, we could not be ignore this alternative.
First of all, as of the young age of 18 months, our son started to have lung infections after lung infections. He would sniffle continuously and would not evacuate any secretion when he would blow his nose. On top of that, he had problems with constipation and eczema sores appeared on his body at the smallest disturbance. His diagnosis: Asthma. Then, my husband, had to face an episode of considerable weight gain because of his constant bouts of hunger. It seriously jeopardized his health and at the same time his quality of life.
Finally, I was myself diagnosed with Crohn's disease in 1991. I can frankly say that for a few years, my life was pretty disturbed. I underwent a colonectomy and several other surgeries. I gave birth to our son in 2000 (exceptional given my current condition) and to top it all, in 2003 I suffered a severe anaphylactic reaction following a treatment.
With all these added stresses, I faced a daily lack of energy and considerable weight gain, and for a young mother this was far from pleasant. Today, I can strongly state, and without any hesitation, that USANA changed our lives. Our son now rarely uses his asthma medications, he never has the sniffles, he hasn't shown any trace of eczema, and hasn't been constipated in a couple of years. His latest bronchoscopy in the spring of 2007 revealed healthy lungs without any trace of former pneumonias. My Husband regained his " young man " shape, consequently it dramatically increased his overall energy " and re -ignited our love life I should say ).
As far as I am concerned, I regained my energy and my pre-pregnancy weight. I was finally able to eat and properly digest foods that my body was unable to tolerate for many years, and my Crohn's disease has been very stable without any further complications. In short, we will never disapprove or ignore traditional medicine, but we understood that a complementary and preventive supplement is essential for the well being of our family.
